Extension of Human Sight

Extension of Human Sight will be shown at the VIDEO VORTEX CONFERENCE:

On 22-23 May, 2009 the fourth edition of Video Vortex will take place in Split, Croatia. The Department of Film and Video at the Academy of Arts University of Split and Platforma 9.81 will organize the event, in collaboration with the Institute of Network Cultures in Amsterdam. After previous events on online video and responses to YouTube in Brussels, Amsterdam and Ankara, this event will focus on the moving image on the Web.

The event opens on Thursday evening, with a lecture, screenings, the opening of the Video Vortex exhibition and a performance by artisty Emile Zile. The conference takes place on Friday and Saturday, and the closing party is on Saturday night.

As a part of http://exquisite-corps.com/ we have the presentation of our collective cooperated work. TransCultural Exchange is an organization dedicated to promoting international art and the understanding of world cultures, through high quality art exhibitions, cultural exchanges and educational programs at our home base in Boston and throughout the world. Incorporated in 2002, the organization has already received awards from such organizations as the International Art Critics Association and support from such respected world organizations as UNESCO, the State Department’s Art in Embassies Program, and the Asian Cultural Council, the Open Society Intitiative, Massachusetts Cultural Council and the LEF Foundation among others.

Extension of Human Sight

"Extension of Human Sight" will be shown at the File Rio 2009 in the Media Art Category. The event will take place at Oi Futuro Cultural Center, located at Dois de Dezembro street, 63, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It will be hold from March 10th to April 19th, 2009.
